Ashfield Friends Group: The Final Curtain
(and a sigh of relief for your ears)
The Ashfield Social Group has officially closed its doors.
Looking back, let’s be honest—we probably should have just called it “Steve’s Friends.” I considered it for a moment, but it felt a bit too narcissistic, even for me!
On a more serious note, I want to sincerely apologize for the events I’ve had to cancel over the past year. Between bouts of anxiety and the fun of “money worries,” I know I haven’t been as reliable as I should have been. I hate letting people down, and I truly appreciate your patience while I was navigating those choppy waters.
To those of you who stood by me, checked in, and offered support: thank you. It means more than I can properly put into words.
If you’re looking for a silver lining, here it is: you are now officially safe from my awful “dad jokes” and my exceptionally long, boring stories. I’ll pause for the cheers to subside... okay, moving on.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year. I hope it’s filled with joy, better jokes than mine, and great company.
Best wishes,
Steve
